Pizza [the way to my heart]

I LOVEEEEE Pizza! Something about being able to put anything you want on some delicious bread, really speaks to my soul.  Its super easy, Emma loves to help, and endless choices all make for a fun lunch/dinner!

First I caramelize the onions. Emma doesnt like this part because the onions make her sad haha
I roll out the dough a little because I like a thinner crust. I drizzle with a tiny amount of oil (depending on how much is left with the onions, you dont want it to be soggy after it cooks) add goat cheese and mozzarella. Bake to the directions on the dough packaging.

Once completed, I pull from the oven, sprinkle with garlic powder, add spinach or arugula and drizzle with balsamic.

I could eat this pizza for every meal....I may have made it twice this weekend and maybe have it on the menu for dinner at least once this week.

Do you have a favorite pizza you like to make? Id love to hear your favorite combinations!

Pumpkin Patch // round 1

Since James only has Monday's off, we were limited on our opportunities for get to a PP. So last night we headed to a near by PP. Based on these pictures, you would think we just went to a farm lol

--> this little boy realllly wanted his picture taken - sure kid hop on in :)

^^ baby piglets- I was in heaven!

Look! You can see pumpkins in the background haha

 <-- she hated the corn

--> she loved the corn and convinced everyone in the pit to bury her ha

I LOVED going during the week. No lines at all. Emma could run from one thing to the next and not have to wait for anyone to tell her ok go ahead. I think well do this every year! We left with less than $20 worth of pumpkins. I call it a win :)

Weekend wrap up

Emma told me she was going to her room to 'get cozy' hahahahah this is what she came up with. So cute.

Emma told me she needed a new bed..esp because this one is Hello Kitty and she already has HK sheets, so it would be perfect.

And for Sunday Craft day, we played with modeling clay! She refused to let me take any pictures of the shapes I made. #threenager

We got a HUGE 20 minute storm last night. So I opened up the door and put up the gate. Emma comes running over begging to go out. I let her know I dont want her to get sucked in the river out front and she agreed to just watch very pouty like haha. Gianna came crawling at lightening speed to check it out. Fascinated by it, she sat for 5 minutes until the wind picked up and I had to close the door because we were all getting wet. I wish this would happen more often! I love opening the doors and windows listening to the rain.

Happy Monday!

Craft Sunday // glitter pumpkins

I try to do an activity every Sunday (or really any time I feel like we are at our wits end ha) I saw this simple glitter pumpkin thing and it look easy and cheap! Oh and my dining room is a big shiny glitter room. (James favorite haha sorry)

We started out clean...

Then she swirled the glitter with her hands and tried to wipe it off on her tummy and made a huge mess ha. It was a lot of fun and I enjoy glitter, so it didnt bother me. But James look on this face, I thought he was going to drop to the floor.
Our finished project :)

Once they are completely dry, ill shake the extra glitter off and put them up high to look at :)

Weekend Recap

This weekend it heated back up again. What the heck?! So we hit the splash pad one more time. Gianna even joined in the fun. Not slightly amused by it haha
Hopefully next weekend we wont need the a/c!

This girl is standing on her own for a few seconds at a time and she is just oh so proud of herself. If you stand with her and hold her hands of course, shell take a few steps! ahhh she went from doing nothing at all, then at 5 months, she rolled over and now she cant stop.

Photo Dump

Dumping photos from the last 2 weeks :)

TraderJoes next to daycare has a pumpkin display and we must stop everyday :)
I finally got a dent in G's baby book! I need to add to Emmas so bad. Sorry girl, maybe ill print off all my blogs for you ;)

We visited Makutu's Island! I think if she was 5-8 she would of had so much more fun. Lots of bigger kids that were able to push their way around her and it was making her upset a little. But she was so BRAVE and did this bouncy thing. It was so so so cute. We will def be going back soon :)

I had a small cup of Dawn dish soap (I hear it makes major bubbles in the bath) and Emma dumped the whole cup at once..it worked!

Emma has started to 'wash her face' at night.                               The princesses ;)

Our TraderJoes never has the small carts!! I think they got a shipment in because they had like 10 when we came on this day. She was so so excited. 'Ok Mama, lets go get more stuff for me!!' and then she made me pay..rude.

G made her way on the tile this weekend. She has been good
and stopping when she gets to the tile likes shes not allowed.
She finally braved it and made it to the door :)
