Oh where, oh where have the Pizzas been?! We have been super busy visiting family for Spring Break and planning a birthday party for a cutie turning 2 in 2 weeks!!

 

She is such a good road tripper and I love that she napped this time :)

 

 

 

Grammy and Poppop got a swing for their tree... try taking her out of it..BIG mistake. Pure joy :)

 

Meeting our sweet new nephew and Emma played with her cousin who is just 6 months older. They were so good with each other and played so sweetly. Sad we moved away...only a little though lol

 

Sunday morning we went and played with the kiddos and did the same on St. Pattys day; only we had green bagles and wore green clothes :)

 

Towards the end of Monday, they kept giving each other kisses and it was just the most cutest thing you have ever seen.

 

And on the way home, coloring, Bubble guppies and snacks... 4 hours she was the best and the last 30 min.. we couldnt wait to get home!!

 

And when we did!!! Mimi and Poppa (my parents) surprised us with backyard landscaping!! :) Emma is obsessed with the 'grass' and loves to come out here daily.

 

Just shy of 2.

 I cannot believe this girl will be 2 in less than a month!! I will continue to say this till eternity... just like my Mom still does today.

 

a few things I can remember off the top of my head:

- She knows when we pull in the neighborhood and shouts "we're home!!"

-She also knows when we pull into "school"

-Counts 1,2,3 and 5,6,7

- tries to say every new word she can and its so cute how she usually only gets half the word if its too long for her; like umbrella, she calls it rella

- when James leaves any room, she will say 'Bye-Bye Dada, Byeeee' melts your heart.

- can point out, Mimi, Ama (Gramma), Pop-pop, Poppa, Uncle, Ant, and Icholas (Nicholas) and herself (lol) in pictures around the house

 

-takes her diaper off in the crib... so we have started to put them on backwards when we put her down

She has been open to try new food this month, like BBQ sauce (ok i know, not a food) and grilled cheese!! Bread is a new big thing for her; previously, just looking at bread was a mistake, unless it was a waffle.

 

When we hang out upstairs, her favorite new spot is on the cube by her window and she watches for puppies :)

 

 

 

 

 

The next 4 pictues were a super fun day!! She loves her owls on her outfit, she was super sassy outside, stole my nail file and insisted on helping me, i giggled the whole time because she was filing the bottom of my foot tickling me, missing the nail all together. AND thenn, we finalllly hung up our curtains in the hallway and Emma must help Daddy along the way.

She is fianlly big enough for her 'Emma' onesie that my dear friend Brittany got for Emma before she was born! I have been dying to put this on her for TWO years!! 

 

Before we start to melt and pack away all the winter clothes, we wanted to make sure this was worn. CUTEST outfit everrr. She could be lady president! And this week she started doing this cheesey smile when I ask her to show me her teeth. Adorbs.

Hello March :)

February Recap:

 

• Seahawks won the superbowl! (Go Giants!!)
• James got attack by a dog (all healed now -- minus the scar)
• Emma turned 22 months old
• We were officially in our house for one month
