Birthday Celebration

I started my Birthday off with a family dinner. I chose to eat at the Yardhouse because I am a diehard fan of their garlic fries. And then they came with a sweet dessert :)

And then everyone at my office helped decorate (I am usually the designated decorator around here) and I must say, they did a fab job!! I am leaving it up all week, as this is a celebration of me hehe

I got spoiled on my day and it was great!! I got flowers that smell AMAZING. There is some sort of cinnimon smell to them and Brandi said they came this way. Heaven. I also got a yummy candy bouqet, YUM! And I got a 5 pack of EOS chapstick, my new fav! and a bunch of gift cards :)

I also put in a request for a delicious cheesecake. Jessika makes a delicous cheesecake and Camie made the caramel sauce and I was in heaven. I asked for no cake, cupcakes, or donuts and this is what I wanted instead. They followed through and I think I gained 5 pounds on Tuesday.

When I got home, James called that he had to work late, I was a tad sad, but then I got to have me and Emma time, which was nice...kinda. She was in a terrible mood lol...but overall, I had a FANTASTIC birthday. My love got me my favorite candle from Bath and Body Works and a pair of Victoria Secret sweat pants that I have had my eyes on for a few months :). Happy Girl and a happy 26th.

Halloween Jammies

I got these jammies at Walmart for $5. Best $5 ever spent. I LOVE these jammies!

I turned the camera around on my phone and she loved seeing herself. She thought she was so funny..and who are we kidding.. she was!

I was watching dancing with the stars and she was dancing so crazy and cute, I have never seen her get into something like this other than Bubble Guppies.

And then she playing with my devil horns, which I am wearing on Halloween :)

What has Emma been up to?

The usual bath routine :) each night we pick a different color, she screams with excitment

We have morning snuggles since its been getting chili!

So precious when she sleeps

She discovered her belly button this past week...every time her shirt comes off, she looks down there and sticks her finger in it haha

She also has been wearing our shoes, James are a tad heavy for her, so she needs some help, I was laughing so hard, this was the least blurry picture :)

We like to sit on cases of water and eat morning snacks. (this is a good example of her wild morning hair ha)

She also was trying to put her shorts on her over jammies, so I helped out and she hung out like this till nap time lol it was so cute

One evening, I thought she was playing in her room, then it became too quiet, which usually means she is in to something, and she had her feet in her crib with a blankey drinking her juice. It was only 630...tired little one?

Poor girl has been extra clingy this week, I love the extra snuggles and love, however, making dinner and eating and drop offs at daycare have become a difficult task this week! Cant wait for this phase to pass when she will want her Da-da again.

Love you peaches!

26

Today I turn 26. Not sure how I feel about it yet. Not sure if I feel anything really. 25 was an exciting year filled with joy and some amazing moments. My baby girl turned 1, James and I got married and we purchased a house! Such big things this year and I can only hope for 26 to be just as exciting. So far it is looking up, we are going to California for a NY Giants game and Hawaii for a week as well; we will then be moving into our beautiful new home and my baby girl will turn 2. So many things to look forward to and I will make the most of the later half of my 20's!

BRING IT ON 26!!!

Pumkin Patch..take 2!

This weekend, we went to Schnepf Farms for a better pumpkin patch experience. This may have cost us $17 per person (Emma was free), but I know if future years it will be well worth it!! All the rides and activities were included in the price. If you had to buy tickets to do each thing, it would have cost way more.

We started out on the hay ride, which Emma was not too thrilled about touching the hay lol. We stopped at 2 differnt activites on the hay ride, one was to pat reindeer and the second was a corn maze. We did the deer petting but I hate corn fields, so we skipped on that part.

When that was done, we wandered too the pumpkin patch :). They had a way better selection of pumpkins, precut off the stem, which was WAY more appealing that the one in Vegas we went to.

Going right for the big ones. I tried to get to sit on them so I could take pictures...it was a no-go.

The biggest cow I have ever seen

Hanging out with Daddy :) going up and down the slide, she LOVED it

And lastly, we rode the caroussel that was 101 years old!

Vegas (3 0f 3)

So the real reason we went to Las Vegas this past weekend was ofr James' cousin Ted's wedding party (got all that? lol). Ted and Noel were married in Captiva, FL in June and we were unable to make it, so we made sure to go to the Vegas party in return. Noel did it all herself! She was so crafy and saved so much $$!
She made limoncello! Bought these super cute glass bottles and the yellow with the pink was perfect!

Outside the tables had blue table cloths and these awesome center pieces she made!! I am so stealing this idea! She bought waterproof lights and put them under some blue rocks and cut the flower right at the base; at night, these had such a beautiful glow!

She printed all the signs and cut them, so cute!

Emma finally wore a summer dress I have been waiting for to fit! She was so stinking cute! Aunt Susan and Uncle Ed (Teds parents) got emma this really cool flashlight toy! She carried it all night.

It got to be a tad loud inside, so Nicholas and Emma played in the garage, knocking on the door, chasing each other and escaping through the side door. Im so glad they played well :). Emma meeting Aunt Linda; it was such a treat meeting her! (Uncle Peter is in a wheel chair, so its hard for them to travel, im so glad they were able to come!)

Blurry and small, however, this picture is amazing! (taken by Nate, James cousin) James Mom has 5 sisters and 1 brother and all but 1 sister was able to make it!! Robert, Linda, Jeannie, Susan, Betty-Lou, and Millie (missing Bobby-Jo)

It was wonderful seeing so many family members and Emma being able to meet them all was such a treat!

Vegas (2 of 3)

While we were in Vegas, we headed to a pumpkin patch with James brother and family. I will say that I was highly dissapointed in the place, smashed pumpkins everywhere, kids throwing pumpkins and smashing them, people could drive thru and were driving over the fields and the line was a mile long to pay; however, the kids had a great time and we spent some time with Nick and Danielle and Nicholas and that is what it was about. We will be heading to one this weekend in AZ that I presume will be better (petting zoo and more activities).

Emma would not go near any pumpkins, so I was able place it near her and get a pic lol

Were are all the pumpkins?!

Got some lovely pics with Emma! (I am never in pics with her! Thanks Danielle!)

With Daddy! She hated the hay lol and she would hold this tiny green not-even-a-pumpkin-really thing.

Nick and Nicholas!

Emma and Nicholas ran wild and discovered each other and it was sooo cute to watch them!! (again, where are the good pumpkins?! GONE!)
