Where did August go?!

What an exciting week! This week, we chose out granite out for the kitchen, the carpet for the rest of the house, the tile (which will look like wood!) and the darkest square is the cabinet color. It was so hard to choose what we wanted in the house. Way too many choices and money too easily spent. I was able to contain myself and spent $1500 less than I gave myself to spend, so that was nice.

After I was all done, I decided I would take the rest of the afternoon and pick up Emma early from daycare... she had other plans. She was so cute sleeping on her "cot", so I hung out till she woke up. A whole bunch of 1 year olds sleeping is the cutest thing EVER!

One of the teachers made this super cute school bus for their classroom. Emma is in the first window waving. I love kids classrooms :)

I love when Emma rediscovers hidden toys (because you know... we have a billion of them). She found this gem in the corner of her closet and played with it all weekend, honking the horn all weekend! lol

Sunday was a rough nap day. 1. she slept in, which at first was amazing! but then 2. she messed up her nap schedule. 3. she woke up mid-nap stuffy because we forgot to clear her nose before going down. So after she was wailing for a few min, I rescued her and since sitting up, she could breathe and passed out on my shoulder and took an additional hour long nap on me like this. Love when she falls asleep on me!! :)

This girl is so spoiled by Gramma it is out of control. A few weeks ago my Mom asked where she could get Emma a chair for her house. I was slightly joking when I mentioned they have a Bubble Guppies couch/chair set at Walmart...well she was all over it. She was sweet enough to give us the chair for our house and keep the couch and ottoman her house. To say Emma LOVES this chair is an understatement. Up and down all day!

This girl is such a heartbreaker already. What am I going to when she gets to high school?!

Happy last week of August!!!

New Beginings...

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! It is being built fresh from the ground up. After a long search and a bad house offer, we chatted and chatted and decided what we need is fresh and new. So this weekend, we picked out our floor plan, our lot (empty land below), the style of our home, and color scheme for the outside of the house. We are so excited. If all goes smoothly and on time, we should move in the last week of the year!! A little bummed because we wont really be able to decorate for Christmas with everything being packed and going to Hawaii during the whole week of actual Christmas, but we will be able to have a our first real Xmas in our new house next year!! (perfect for post xmas sales!!)

This is the color scheme we chose. Now, this wont be what our house looks like, just the colors. We will have a navy blue front door, and I think the shutters will match and then the colors correspond as so...

Emma has been crafting at daycare and brought home her first coloring project :) such a proud Momma! She also got a Bubble Guppies shirt from Gramma B and this was the best she would let me capture, she was running wild with excitement.

On Saturday, My Mom and I met up with her friend Robin, her daughter had twin girls in May this year and we finally got to meet them! This is little Cali (my mom held Elli most of the time) She was soooo good. Sat in my arms the whole lunch.

On Sunday, Emma couldnt even handle herself with her tiredness. She wanted her blanket ALL day. She wraps herself and hung out here the majority of the day. She wanted nothing to do with food or drink unless it was a red juice or fruit loops. She plowed her breakfast this mornng to say the least.

 Happy week!!!

16 months

16 months! Emma has been so much fun this month. She has been extra silly and trying and discovering lots of new things.

Like the loofa! She is so facinated with the loofa and the water.

Emma also loves to walk around with her blanket like this. She fill find any blanket and wrap herself like this and just hang out. One of the ladies at daycare also said she was pouting at her nap mat one day begging for her blanket, just so she could walk around like this. Sooo cute.

We have being using her forward facing carseat for a few months now and we have yet to put this away because it becomes a 20 min entertainment toy at least 4 times a day. She will climb in and out or just sit and watch tv!

She chowed down on some watermelon slices at dinner. She refused to lick the rib bones hehe

Sitting in her thrown after waking up watching some "Buppies?" (Bubble Guppies)

After dinner with my parents, we went to the splash pad at Tempe Marketplace since Emma is a fish. Sitting on Grandpas shoulders :)

She will stand on the hole and wait for it spray up at her. Such a goon.

So many other kids around she was in a whirlwind

Off running

And there she is!!! :) Such a fun girl to be around. Love you peaches!!

Changes

Big changes this week in the Pizzariello household... we are now a two-income family!! Yay! James started his new job as a teacher assistant this week :)

Which also means, Daddy does more bath time with Emma at night! Yay for Momma.

This outfit kills me... her first pair of flair jeans and her little piggie tails. LOVE.

Because James started work, Emma got to join me at work for a few days last week until we got daycare settled...

So this...we start daycare!! Monday was her first day and she loved it. She didnt want to take her AM nap, but with such excitment, I dont blame her. Today when I dropped her off, she said to me "Buh-Bye" and ran off. I was sad, but knowing she loves it that much, made me ok and I was happy that she likes it and wanted to go back.

Until next time.... :)
