We bought a house!

We have officially owned the house for 2
months and living in it for almost a month. We still have a ton of work inside, but all the major projects have been completed. Ill probably do 4-5 posts touring the house with before and afters :) The Kitchen and Backyard will be last as they are still a work in progress ;)

Most of the before's are from the listing pictures and I took a few 'progress' pictures.

So the front of the house!

Per the HOA, we needed to paint the house and patch the rocky landscape. When it came down to it, the front cactus was essentially dead and there were several different colors of rock. My parents so graciously offered to have the house painted and landscaped as a house warming gift. So grateful for them! It looks AMAZING!! We are hoping to still get rid of the second cactus and sell it, but for now its fine on the side of the house.

*not pictured* The bush in front of the window was full and green when it was removed.

Here is the after! AMAZING! We went with a gray for the house and planted some trees that will eventually provide some shade and all new rocks :)

We have had several neighbors stop by and tell us how much better it looks!

Week[end] in review

Selfies with each of my girls, one was more thrilled than the other, ha

<-- Emma is such a good sister. Lets G climb all over her, eats her food, ruins her toys.

Saturday I got to spend most of the day with G while Emma was with my Mom.

G got her self dressed (in Emmas clothes lol) and brushed her teeth and got her nails painted!
We made a list for Target and headed to breakfast first.

--> Donut lover <3
<-- from earlier in the week, Emma got her dressed for 'school'. Mostly I was taking pictures of the new landscape and she was just the cutest addition.

--> Sunday, channeling her inner seal

**I asked Emma if she could be any animal, what animal would she be? (I was thinking unicorn, right?) ...no. 'I dont want to be an animal'... I know, but if you could be one, what would you be? I would be a lioness....'umm, no animal. I just want to be a princess. A princess animal sounds good'

hahaha she kills me.

Emmas First Week of Kidergarten

Before her official 1st day, we went and met Emmas teacher and it was so cute! Other than when I was a kid, this is the first time I had a 'meet the teacher' and I may have been more nervous than her haha

We walked around campus so she knew where the bathrooms and all the important places are, like the play ground, cafeteria and gym ;)

On her last day of daycare/Prek/summer program lol, Emma begged to bring cookies and of course I obliged, Im a cool Mom haha.

--> Backpack all ready for her first day

First day jitters! Im so proud of her, she did so good for being so unsure! (probably all the chaos lol, but ill call it a win)

Her backpack weighed more than her ha, all the supplies packed inside, but she insisted on carrying it.

Her 1st Back to School picture!! Just loveeee her!

Playing on the playground trying to make friends on her first day.

--> day 2

Take a moment to pause and appreciate this crazy 2nd child of mine...

<-- stole my soda, chips and guac

--> stole the lotion while I was getting ready (she LOVES lotion!! ahhh, I have to hide it from her haha)
Back to Kindergarten week lol.

Back to loving each other :) Taking G to school on Friday. This has been a hard adjustment for her not having Emma there with her. Today was the first day she didnt cry for her at drop off, yay!

<-- Mom, take my picture!!

Emma and I went on a date on Friday after school for having such a good week! We got ice cream and a new toy and did some crafts at home and spent some much needed one on one time <3

---> And then it was the weekend! These 2 love each other so freaking much!!

<-- Cuddling on the couch together

--> playing slime together
---> annnddddd then she wanted to wear it as a hat and it was stuck in her hair. A little tubby and it all washed out :) only lost 50 hairs in the process.

Heres to making through an entire week of school. Im just so proud of how far she came in 2 weeks. She did NOT want to go at all. Threw several temper tantrums about not wanting to go. There were ZERO tears on her first day and when I picked her up, she couldnt wait to go back again! And then she asked how many more days of kindergarten there are left... a lot sweet heart, a lot LOL.

Fathers Day 2017 [better late than never ;)]

 I just realized I never posted these pictures!

On Saturday, we took the girls to the out door mall and splash pad, they were such hams!

 For Fathers Day, we went to breakfast and hung out with James and my Dad :) It was such a nice day!

Post - short and sweet ;)

I just love watching how much my Dad and the girls love each other!
