New years 2017!!

This year, we had a wonderful last minute visit from James' brothers family! We were so happy to see them! There was snow at the Zoo for New Years Ball Drop at Noon and so we all went and played and watched the ball drop and had a count down and all. Later than night, we threw glitter everywhere, made it 10 pm and crashed! It was such a great weekend and im so glad we got to spend it with them and ring in the new year!

Happy 2017!!!

Christmas 2016

Christmas was so much fun this year!!

We sent the kids to my parents house Friday night so James and I could build all day/night Friday and get any last minute parts (which we did!!)

Christmas Eve, we went to my parents for family time and to get the girls.

We made sure to get home at bed time so there was no peeking!

We opened family gifts and then read The Night Before Christmas and everyone went to bed!

Santa came while we slept and left all kinds of goodies!

James and I decided that Emma was really due for a bed upgrade (we converted the crib) and I didnt want to wait 4 more months till she was 5. She got a TV that only plays DVDs. Im jealous of her bed ha. I also revamped a doll house for Emma, which was a true labor of love. It has been played with every day and makes my heart so happy.

James and I even got a headboard upgrade. LOVE!

Emma is obsessed PJ Masks and this is the coolest hoodie ever!!
<< Emma ran over her ankle outside and was crying, Gianna came over to assess for her and it was so precious. Makes my Mama heart so full.

We spent all day playing together and just being together. It was the best day!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Oregon 2016: road trip up the coast

Back in October, my brother and I took a 4 day trip up to Oregon! I had never been and have always wanted to go. He mentioned he was going a road trip and if I had vacation time, I could join. SOLD.
We started up the coast of California and the view was soooo beautiful!! Going in and out of scenery and the beach was so magical.
Once we got to Oregon, we headed to Crater Lake, the view was unbelievable. We also went to an animal habitat place, I have never learned so much about animals; we had the most knowledgeable tour guide. We walked the cute down town and ate at tons of local places. Nothing about Oregon disappointed. If it was for my husband and kids, im not sure if I would have come, ha!
