Christmas Day 2015

I dont know what we did to deserve such a perfect Christmas. It couldnt have gonna any better. The girls fell alseep so fast. Ive never seen Emma ask to go to sleep.  And then it got even better, Gianna slept till 8 and Emma slept till 830! It was the best present ever!
After they woke up we went running downstairs. It is so magical watching a child on Christmas morning.

Emma insisted every gift was hers. She did let Gianna open one and then took the gift as hers.

I watched the girls play with all their cool new things and James whipped us up some pancakes :)

After we got ready, we headed to my parents house for the day. The girls and us opened more presents and ate a delicious meal!

During Gianna's nap, we took Emma to the local park. Which I went to growing up! It was fun to see the updates and play on the things I used to play on :)

On Sunday. we played around the house and then headed to the mall to check out after sales and use some gift cards the girls got. Emma picked out a tiny baby doll (the same one she got Gianna for Xmas, but since she couldnt have it for herself, she purchased the same one with her gift card lol) and a baby high chair, which converts to a swing, car seat and floor seat.

Gianna picked out food and diapers, because she decided that is what she needs most at this time ;)

And Emma always begssss to ride the carousel, so while James ordered us lunch, we went for a ride. This was one of the fastest ones I have been on. I was holding on so tight haha
It was the perfect end to our Christmas 2015!

Pre-Christmas 2015

I thought I was about to be crazy starting 'cry it out' on Christmas Eve Eve..but I was getting desperate for a bit more sleep and Gianna was showing signs (finalllly) that she was over the swaddle and ready to sleep on her own. All previous attempts failed, ending in crying for over an hour in her crib. A few days before, each time she saw her swaddle blanket she would start to freak out and I was like oooh great hours of fun. So finally I bit the bullet. She was SO tired, so I think that it helped, but she cried for a total of less than 10 mins and was asleep by 20 mins! Woohoo! Shes been waking up about once a night still for a diaper change, which is totally ok with me, because 5/7 days im happy to see her face at 1 am :).
Every picture she takes now that she can see herself, she will stick out her tongue. But we matched and it was cute, so I let it slide.
On Christmas Eve, Emma came to work with me for a few hours and Gianna went with my Mom to work and we met up for lunch after :) This little bird will eat anythingggg!

Then when we got home, Gianna went down for a nap and the 3 of us decorated cookies! Circles and Micky Mouse because Mom fail and I forgot to get Xmas themed ones. I dont think Santa minded the shapes though ;)
We put out a plate of cookies and chocolate milk for Santa and I have never seen Emma want to go to bed so fast!

Weekend before Christmas!

Thursday was the school performance for Emma. I just love going to these, only half the kids sing, half try and escape to a parent and they start to merge to the teachers. So cute. They are so excited to dress up and sing to us. Just love it. Emma is in the dead center of the pic. She was hard to view this year.

Friday was my Mama's birthday, so I dropped the girls off at Tabby'a house and met up for dinner and a movie! I have been dying to take her to RnR Bistro for the pork fries, they didnt disappoint. So good. And then we saw Sisters. Hilarious. By the way, the new seats in the theater, I could have napped there ha.

This wold child. I asked her to blow me kisses and I get 'Muahhhhhh's!!!' hehe
Gianna has found that she can reach an ornament on the tree. I dont know how to explain the texture, but it makes a scratchy sound and she is so fascinated by it.

Emma and I made teacher gifts for all the teachers at daycare. Emma helped stuff the bags, staple the bags and eat the Hershey Kisses lol

Emma picked out matching 'milk and cookie' jammies and they are so adorable. Getting these two in a picture still together..maybe in a few months ha
My early riser came to hang out Sunday while I made breakfast. She hates sitting in the bouncer now, but loves to play all around it. Gives me two minutes to throw things on the stove.
While I unloaded groceries, I threw G in the walker and Emma was stoked! They playing for at least 30 minutes in the driveway like this. Gianna LOVED being drug around in circles.

After play time, we braved Ikea, just us girls. I needed some cheap frames for all my new pictures annnnd a new chair? lol but I now LOVE this chair. After sitting G in it last night, its a perfect picture taking chair!

It felt very busy this weekend, but I loved it. I tried to keep the girls busy and out of the house so James could rest. I would love to sit and do nothing now ha
