Pumpkin Patch 2014

This year we went to a local farm (last year was local too) We wanted to go up north a little bit where it is cooler, but time ran out. So we headed to Vertuccio Farms. It was half the price of last year and I loved how much smaller it was. At Schnepf Farms last year, we felt like we walked forever to get to each activity.

I was excited for Emma this year, because last year she was too small for any activities. We stood next to this 'giaaaaaaant punkin'. Emma and James went down this slide..she LOVES slides. She was so excited.

My favorite part of this whole little visit was the turkeys. James 'called' this turkey and it kept calling back. He got all ruffled up and spread its feathers. It was hilarious. Emma now asks James to call the turkey and busts out laughing.

We took a little hay ride/carriage ride without and hay lol but it was cute to go through all the trees and see the farm.

Emma got to feed the goats! She was so cute. 'Ah it got me!'

We saw a coop of baby chickens and of course had to observe.
James wanted to show off his man strength. He hit it 4 times and on that last hit, you heard a loud 'DING!'..A man so proud of himself :)
And after it was all done, on the way out of the farm is where you could pick your pumpkins. I loved that you didnt have to cart them around the whole farm and it was right by the exit. James got a huge pumpkin and I got the largest one I have ever gotten before, but not as big as James'...and Emma already has 4192374, so we didnt get her one haha.

I cant wait to carve them this year! and next year, we will have TWO little babes to take with us :)

Baby 2 // 24 weeks!

24 Weeks!

Got her legs crossed :)

Sweet profile :)

Gender: Its a GIRL!!!!!!!!

Weight: I find out tomorrow

Size of Baby: yesterday they measured her 1 pound 5 oz! Shes also as long as an ear of corn

Belly button in or out: in
Sleep: Since we have started the nursery and taken the guest bed down, we decided that the matress was far less used and we swapped it out..lets just say sleep has been great this week!!! Yay. And also, my HUGE pregnancy pillow arrived yesterday! I love to just lay on the floor with it lol, I can still sleep pretty well, so I wont take up the whole bed for a least a week or 2 more with that pillow

Best moment of the week: I took Emma with me to the ultrasound yesterday so she could 'see' the baby and she just kept asking 'Momma! Whats that? I hear a noise! Ooo the baby"

Worst moment of the week: I am officially starting to feel tight in the pants region... I will be looking for work pants this weekend

Miss anything: So far so good :)

Difference between pregnancies: I feel like I did with Emma now! I have been eating everything!

Movement: so much stronger this week. For dinner, she gets really active when I take bites. I love it.

Cravings: nothing this week!

Queasy or sick: this weekend, it was sick a few times. Nothing that kept me down tho.

Looking forward to: We have narrowed it down to 3 names, Kennedy, Gianna or Jacqueline. We will have a name next week!! Woooohooo

Emma // 2.5

Highlights from the past few months!
(and this is my 100th blog post!)
Counts to 20 on her own
Counts to 10 in Spanish
Sings the ABCs to herself and is so proud
Has been reading along with her stories at night
Likes to go up and down the stairs like a 'big-girl'..meaning were not allowed to touch her
Her new thing is 'Noooo Momma! I try it!' and she wants to do it herself. Cute...but somethings are just meant for Mommas to do LOL
Still sleeps in her crib..she doesnt want to be free yet with the side dwon (she clearly doesnt know what she is missing!!)
I think she is starting to understand there will be a baby here soon; she points to the nursery and tells us its 'babys room'.
Loves to ask you 'What is that?' and then answers herself
Started potty training!

she has her moments hahahaha but mostly, she is sweet :)

Today before school :) We love you soooo much! I cannot wait for you to be a big sister!! You are going to be amazing!! (we hope ;) )

Nephews 3rd Birthday

This weekend, my sweet nephew turned 3! We visited to celebrate. It was at an indoor playground, it was amazing!! It reminded my of a version of Chuckie Cheese, without the arcade games and for kids who are 1-8. This place did all the decorating and all they had to was bring the cake. Emma LOVED this place. She couldnt get enough of the ball pit and the train. She would only stay somewhere for a few minutes before finding a new toy to play with!

After the party, Emma wanted to keep playing, so we went over to Nicholas' house to play! The boys were grilling in the backyard and so the kids were splashing their hands in the water. Both attempting to use the potty now, Nicholas needed to pee, so we directed him to just 'do it in the rocks'..hes a kid and a guy who cares. Wellll Emma sees him take his pants off and pee and wants to the same. She was SO proud of herself. We were all about to pee our pants it was hilarious.

James' cousins were also in town from NY! It was Jay's bday and we havent seen them in 4 years almost. They have never met Emma, so it was so wonderful to see them again and enjoy breakfast!

When the boys were little (James and Nicky), they had this train that was painted red, it held all their toys. It has been refinished and being given to the girls!! It will be here by the end of the year and we are so excited to have it! Where we will put it..who knows haha..but it is so awesome! Shelves on each side, the top opens and you can store stuff in the bottom.

This girl loves going to play in the sand pit at Grammys and riding this lawn mower. She refuses to push it, it is a cart hahaha

Next weekend, picking Pumpkins!!!
