Memorial Day Weekend 2017

*just realized this was still hanging out in the drafts. Woops.

This weekend we had James' parents in town for the holiday and his birthday! It has been hot enough to get in the pool, so we headed to their hotel and played for hours! Im so proud of both girls. They have been to splash pads and been in pools just

a handful of times and dont really know what theyre doing in the water. But they both were swimming and jumping in like pros! I was so impressed with Emma and how quickly she caught on and held her breathe (shes been practicing in the bath, talk about a heart attack).

Later in the evening, we went to Outback for James' birthday dinner. It was such a good weekend! I got a small tan that quickly went away haha 

After the sun went down, it was nice enough to hang out in the driveway and color with chalk :)


Well be trapped in doors for the next 3 months now. Clearly live in the wrong state.

Emma Graduates Pre-K!

Emma graduated Pre-K on Friday and it was so cute! It went super fast because they kids were getting really hot. But they sang, got their diploma's and hugged it out. Emma has been at the same school for almost 4 years, so they really have taken such good care of her and gotten to know her.

 Emma sitting between her 2 best friends! They have become the cutest little friends and I hope that we are able to keep in touch after we part ways come August. Little friendships are so sweet.

So proud of my little graduate! You are so smart and are going to rock Kindergarten! Your teachers say your ready and I can see that you are! 2 months till Kindergarten baby!

I asked her what her favorite thing about starting Kindergarten was, she told me 'Nothing! I dont want to go and I dont want homework!!'... so well see how this goes haha

May 2017 [2nd half]

May was such a fun month!! Maybe because of all the nice weather? Either way, it was the best of the year so far!

--> new 'twirl' dress came in.. amazing dress! She wears it so well.

<-- took Emma on a date to Chili's one afternoon and she asks daily when we can go back, ha

<-- it hit the mid-70s in MAY! So we absorbed the park as much as we could.

<-- we had a playdate with one the little kids from the school the girls go to. It was so much fun watch Gianna explore.

--> has recently taken a liking for crab rolls and shrimp! So proud of her!

These 2 pictures are hilarious. You can see Emma is posing nicely for her picture and Gianna is coming from behind to push her right off.
