House tour {down stairs}

 

Now that we are 3 months in to living in our beautiful home, I thought it is time to share :)

 

 

Front entry way (where I decorate for each season :))

 

Our simple living room {which usually looks like a box of toys blew up} waiting for the perfect item to hang on the wall...oh and money to buy it haha

On the otherside of the entry way/living room, is the play room! One of my favorite rooms in the whole house :) Lined wall to wall with mounds of toys! And before you head upstairs, the half bath, which also needs something on the wall, but I love it. 

 

The dining room, will get a mirror in place of the picture...eventually. Simple and cozy.

 

From the dining room you look into the kitchen.. 

Garage and walk-in Pantry

 

James' touch to the kitchen...South Park dolls. Every house for the past 5 years has had these in the kitchen.

 

 

Back yard and up-stairs to come!!! :)

Emma turns 2!!

 Minnie Mouse Theme Party!

(yes the 'I and R' are switched lol, just didnt retake the pic after they were fixed)

We kept it just James and I and my parents came over for food and cake and of course gifts!

I loved all the decor and or course almost 2 weeks later, I still have it hung up :)



Black and Pink where the color scheme..just like everything else. Big shocker there!


I LOVED the table setting. I would do every meal like this if my husband wouldn't give dirty looks haha

Food table: Homemade meatballs and Sauce w/ Bow Tie pasta

Cookies and Cake

Beverages were added later when they were nice and cold!

I LOVED her cake!! I was pink, pink, and more pink!
Pink velvet cake, with neon-pink frosting and pink sprinkles and or course a pink candle!

 

We then proceeded to open gifts, she was so happy! Which makes this Momma happy. She got new Bubble Guppies bedding, cleaning toys (since she loves to 'help clean') and new Snapbibs which she loves to wear on the daily! There were other things...but who wants to be bored with a list of toys lol

A few days later, bedding is washed and ready to be used! She wouldnt let me put the mattress back in the crib, so we let her play on it... most adoable thing. While reading stories, she kept asking to get in the bed. Story time was quick this night. As I watched through the monitor, I could see and hear her putting her stuffed Minnie she sleeps with 'to bed'. "night night Minnie" as she shoved her under the blanket. Such love.

Happy 2nd Birthday my tiny Love!!! I cant believe how fast time is gone. I cant wait to see where your personality takes you this year. Love you lots!!!

1 Year Anniversary

A year ago 4/21/2013 this handsome man and I said 'I Do!'.

 

As I look back on this perfect day, I am so glad God chose you to be by my side.

I wake up knowing that I am loved and I never have to worry. Your smile and heart that brings so much joy in to my life.

This year has been a whirl-wind. We bought our first house and you started a new career. We a few lows and a ton of highs.

This year has taught me a lot patience and has given me great strength and love.

You have kept me silly and I am forever greatful knowing I can always count on you to make me smile. Thank you for loving me. ❤

Easter 2014

This year Emma was a little more excited, since well you know, she's not 1 and speaks her mind now haha. I got her favorite candies and some sunglasses, girl can never have enough pairs lol, she got some slippers for the house and a little bunny. Grammy P went super fun with the bunny she is playing with below, it sings and wiggles, Emma just loves it!! We also did a mini egg hunt around the house, Emma is still finding the last few this moring haha
