Kids/Hall Bathroom Renovation

Bathroom reno reveal! Its finally here! Because honestly, im not sure ill get any further than this haha
Up above is the before. We kept the tile/tub combo and toilet. Update the vanity and light fixture. Replaced everything else.

Started out with the tile! My Dad looked at me a tad crazy when I brought it to him, but its PERFECT!

The mirror was way too small for the space and also not centered, it drove me nuts. The light is also off centered, but its not as bad with the larger mirror. Added the shelf above the toilet *its so high so you dont bump your head and keep the kids down ha

--> put a gorgeous gold curtain rod up

Put in a frilly white curtain, which my husband doesnt *love*... soooo dont shower in here?! lol

I intended the vanity to be a much much lighter pink. But its bright and so me! Also just paint ;) if/when the time comes to resell, we would probably put in a new vanity as this one is a low quality cheap one anyways.

I love love love the gold drawer pulls. Amazon. Amazing was the best for good deals on home reno. I would say the only down fall was that it is hard to see the true gold color of everything, so the shades are all. But if they are all different, it makes it look like I tried to do that? Lol, going with it!

This is one of my favorite spaces in the whole house. Mainly because its pink and gold ;)

October Weekend Review

This weekend was so much fun! James parents came to visit! Im so excited that everyone wanted to go to a Pumpkin Patch, it was my goal to go to at least 2 this season and we have hit that goal!

The girls loved to bounce on these large things (you like my description haha)

Then, they had these "hamster  wheels" that you could go up and down a track on and super Daddy took the girls back and forth on it.

 This hahahahaha. The girls would try and hug and bounce..didnt work out well for them.

This cute little duck game where you pumped water that pushed the duck down the ramp. Easily 15 mins of entertainment, but we needed to let other play.

They each painted a pumpkin to bring home.

Cant leave the patch without sitting on a pumpkin for proof you were there ;)

After we finished at the patch, we went home to start putting the play house back together in the yard. Its just been too hot this summer to do it. (picture at bottom).

Next weekend is my 30th birthday and I got to pick the restaurant for dinner to celebrate :)
The girls were angels!

Sunday the girls were up at the crack of dawn and it was a tad chilly, Emma dressed for the part. Reading some scrap newspaper from the yard hahahaha

                It really was the best weekend with everyone! We did a lot and the weather wasnt too hot.

Pumpkin Patch 2017

This year I wanted to see if there was any patches closer in town rather than driving 30+ minutes to get to one. I stumbled upon Mother Natures Farm about 10 minutes from house! Score. Even though it was only going to be 90 that day, we made sure to get here right when they opened. (James was working, so he was unable to join)

The llamas were awesome! The kids had barely any fear, unlike me over here hoping they dont get nibbled or spit on haha

There was little ribber animals for the kids to ride on

 A hay maze that Emma did 545341 times.

Hayride!

 You cant see them, but Gianna was calling to the baby pigs!! They were sooooo cute I could even handle it.

My only complaint about this patch, is --> this was basically it for pumpkins! They were priced well, just a really small collection to pick from. This was more 'farm' I felt like than pumpkin patch.

 <-- bribery at its finest. I thought she would look so cute with her legs crossed sitting on the well.

--> no bribery needed - monkey see, monkey do lol

 You can see the baby pigs from here! Emma standing with them right when they woke up. It was the best.



I hope to make it at least 1 more patch before the end of season! This place does a 'snow day' in December that we will definitely bring the kids too!
