Baby 2 // 29 weeks

 

 

 

Gender: Its a GIRL!!!!!!!! Gianna Pizza! (no middle name yet, hubbys 'choice' since the first name was my choice in the end)

Weight: from week 24-28, I gained 1.5 pounds. Still down 7 pounds from week 4.

Size of Baby: Butternut Squash this week

Belly button in or out: still going strong with an innie! (I never 'popped' out with Emma though, so I have this feeling it will be an innie till the end)

Sleep: Good this week! although im waking about an hour before my alarm and end up just laying there

Best moment of the week: Emma and I were folding laundry...ok she was unfolding as I was folding haha....but then she asked that I lay down and be put to bed. So I layed on the bed she made me and then she covered me with a blanket. I then asked if she wanted to 'cuddle' the baby and she said yes, as soon as she layed down, Gianna started going nuts in the womb. It was magical :)

Worst moment of the week: NONE! :)

Miss anything: This week I am realllly missing tummy sleeping...just 10 more weeks!! lol

Difference between pregnancies: Still everything. I have had no crazy dreams, with Emma I had tons. No weight gain; with Emma I gained 50+ pounds. I hate everything but water!

Movement: this week has been a lot of lower kicking and more swiping across the top of my tummy. I believe that is where her legs and arms are.

Cravings: Cup-of-soups still.... although i think these are leading to cankles! ahh.. the salt intake in them is high.. oops. I didnt have one for 5 days and I woke up and realized I didnt have cankles anymore, ate a coup the next day and woke up with cankles!

Queasy or sick: I have been feeling great this week!!

Looking forward to: having this baby. I want the time to stay slow...but at the same time, I just am so excited for Emma and watching the 2 of them together. For now, I will enjoy the last holidays as a family of 3 :)

 

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Birthday and Halloween

On Halloween, Emma was able to wear her costume to school. She was sooooo excited!!! She had been wearing the costume for 2 straight weeks and we were sad everyday we couldnt wear it to school. I was so sick on Halloween, I was so thankful my parents made the hour drive so they could take her out in our neighborhood. I was able to take her to about 6 houses before I couldnt make it anymore. James and were able to get enough energy to carve our pumpkins just in time.

My Birthday was nothing exciting this year due to going to the hospital at 1am and no one feeling well for 8 days. My Momma was so sweet and sent me flowers to work. When I went in for a few hours later in the week, they were sooo beautifuly blooming. After 8 days and feeling better, we celebrated my birthday. I wanted to go to Hobby Lobby and use my gift cards that family and coworkers gave me :) and I decided we should get something subtle for lunch and we opted for Kneaders...AMAZING. I got a soup and bread bowl, I was able to eat 4 bites before I was full..but leftovers were equally delicious.

 

 

On Sunday, James made a little party for my in the dining room :) we had a little cupcake and I made a wish and I got my sewing machine I have been wanting for a year!! I cannot wait to see if I crafty enough for this!

 

And then after we took all the fall/halloween decor down and it was sooo bare on the walls, I decided it was time for Christmas! I wont make my neighboors mad, so we kept it all indoors. Friday after Thanksgiving though....were going all out on the outside!!! Weeeeee and below is my husband and I hahaha

Baby 2 // 28 weeks

 Added to her nursery a bit this weekend :)

(I made the tassel garland!! Time consuming (2 hours total), but cost me less than $7 (ive seen Etsy shops sell them at 18 tassels for $30...I did 30 tassels for less than $7!!!))

Size of Baby: Eggplant...Monday 11/17 she weighed in at 2.5 pounds and right on 28 weeks :)

Belly button in or out: in still...my belly is starting REALLY to get itchy! ahh

Sleep: Good this week! i have only been getting up once to pee at night...but I have to RUN to the bathroom lol

Best moment of the week: Emma has been talking non-stop about her Siser coming after Xmas and that we still need to buy her a bed lol. She tells me 'Momma, I wanna go in Gian-nas room and touch the baby!!' (aka she touches the wall we painted haha)

Worst moment of the week: I have been super emotional this week; just looking at me wrong could make me cry.

Miss anything: Sleeping on my tummy. Its a real struggle. Occasionally ill find myself partially rolled on my tummy and ill wake up uncomfortable realizing this

Difference between pregnancies: Still everything. I have had no crazy dreams, with Emma I had tons. No weight gain; with Emma I gained 50+ pounds. I hate everything but water!

Movement: this week, she is head down, spine to the right and feet wrapped up at the top and I can definitely feel all the movement on the left side of my body

Cravings: Cup-of-soups!! Strange. I just wanted one so bad the other day and when I was at the hospital 2 weeks ago, they told me my sodium levels were down and so I figured why not have ramen haha...it was sooo good. Ive had 2 this week so far. Oops.

Queasy or sick: I have been feeling great this week!!

Looking forward to: My brother comes into to town this week for 3 weeks!!!! and Christmas....this has nothing to do with babe. But I really am looking forward to spending this last Christmas as a family of 3 and watching Emma experience Santa and really try to understand the holidays is amazing and I know it will be even more amazing next year! oh and we have 'Friends'giving this weekend! So im looking forward to that too!! :)



Baby 2 // 27 weeks!

 

Gender: Its a GIRL!!!!!!!! and we picked a name :)

Weight: I was extremely sick for 7 days just over a week ago, I will find out next week how much, if any more I lost! 

Size of Baby: head of a cauliflower

Belly button in or out: in still...my belly is starting to get itchy! ahh

Sleep: Last week, sleep wasnt a thing...this week, so far ive been doing good! Only getting up once a night to tinkle

Best moment of the week: Last night I asked Emma if she wanted to give her baby sister a kiss and she so excitedly popped up and said  yes! It was soooo cute, she gave my belly a few kisses and went on her way.

Worst moment of the week: 25-27 weeks were horrible. On my Bday, James woke up with kidney stones and we spent 48 hours in the hospital, as soon as he was released, I started throwing up. After 3 days of not keeping anything down (i knew if I was peeing I wasnt dehydrated, so I kept drinking the water even though only 1/3 stayed with me), I went to the hospital for a day stay, they couldnt do much and sent me on my way. I spent the next 4 days in bed trying to ANYTHING. I eventually was able to eat some soup by Friday and by Sunday, I was good as new! And now im back to myself again :)

Miss anything: laying on my tummy! I am a stomach sleeper and its driving me bonkers

Movement: summersaults and stonger jabs this week! Love feeling it!!

Cravings: Sonic ice!! I went through 3 bags while I was sick

Queasy or sick: Good for this week

Looking forward to: my ultrasound on Monday!

The Phoenix Zoo!

 So for my Birthday this year, I wanted to take Emma to the Zoo! So that is what we did :)

Ill let the pictures speak for themselves and I cannot wait to take her to the Xmas Zoo Lights at night!
