Five On Friday!

Good Morning! Happy Friday :)

 

1. I am so excited for this weekend! Celebrating my Love's 26th Birthday! James has been dying to see Godzilla, so I am going to go suffer through it just for him :)

 

 

2. I got a flat tire on Wednesday after work and James came and saved the day! Changed my tired in the 108* heat...such a good man!

 

 

3. Yesterday, this girl thew up at daycare and so I got called to come get...I think she just choked on air...because she was super fun the rest of the afternoon! We played and ate snacks and then she spotted this bag in my closet and insisted because it is of a kitty it must be hers... it is as big as she is and she loves it! 'Shopping Momma! Les go!' and she ran to the garage ready to go shopping! Must be spending too much time shopping with her Mimi ;)

 

4. My favorite piece of mail this week!! Our Latchy Catchy came this last weekend! It is amazing how much of a difference it makes. I wish I didnt wait so long to get one. James is so bad at letting the door slam, especially after Emma goes to sleep. Bringing in the grocieries and having fulls hands, all we have to do now, is push the door open. I want to get 8 more for every other door in the house!!

 

5. I won a giveaway!!!! Megan over at A Blessed Nest hosts a series "What V Wore" and she styles her adorable daughter in items from handmade small businesses. I love her love for small business and always show casing such lovely women. This was her first week doing the series and I WON!!! So I will recieve each of the items below :) I cannot wait for mail day on these items!! Even tho we are in super hot days of summer, the headband and scarf for inside? Maybe ill turn the air down a few degrees and we can pretend its winter! Lol

Its the Little Things [Snuggles]

 

This is my first week linking-up with Jess and Ashley for their super cute weekly link-up 'It's The Little Things' I love love reading them each week and it is about time I start! :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emma doesnt like to snuggle often because she is so wiggly and loves to be wild and free! Last night was a super sweet exception; I was watching TV curled up in a blanket and she came up and said 'I go night night with Momma?' oooh yes lovey come snuggle with Momma! So she got up on the couch and got under the blanket with me. We took the opportunity to take some seflie's..

because everyone loves baby selfies :)

It made my heart so incredibly happy that

she wanted to be still with Momma for more than 3 minutes.

Just what I needed, a little couch time with my

favorite girl!

 

We made quick headbands before bed last night and she insisted on seeing herself in them and of course an extra selfie ;)

Emma's room is one of my favorite rooms in the house. It was the first room I had completed. It was important for me that she didn't feel out of place in her new house. She never had a dark wall before and the carpet wasnt this dark, so I wanted to make sure she saw the same artwork and things around her room as she did in our rental.

 

 

 

I took off the closet doors because I loathe having to constantly move the doors back and forth to look at the clothes.

 

Stuffed animal corner! Emma loves 'diving' into the pile of all her animals. Big bed...ah some time in the near future! I just know she will get out and play...she tries to grab those animals through the bars. Her room will be bare when a new bed happens lol

 

 Emma's bathroom is also the guest bathroom, so I made sure to keep fun and playful with the pink, but also made sure it was too silly and characterized...almost tho. And the laundry room, I just love how the tiles look in this room!

 

The loft... looks different as of today. I unpacked all the boxes in the bottom corner and now we can do activities in there! Woohoo!!

 

I did not get a picture of the guest room because well, right now, it is just a bed with some bedding and all the stuff we cant figure out what to do with haha. So someday ill throw in a random picture when I get stuff hung and put away :)

 

Ah and my oasis! Master bedroom. I LOVE the gray wall and all my mismatched patterns :) It will never be this cleaned and organized ever again.

 And behind this door, I have thrown the mess :)

 

The giant bathroom that I could have some serious parties in. The toilet room AKA: poop-closet per James haha is sooo spacious! No one likes to be cramped ;)

 

And there it is.. the home of the Pizza's :)

Wedding// Roseland 5-10-14

This past weekend, we celebrated some dear friends of ours weeding. James' best friend Brett, married Kasey in Florence, AZ. A reallllly small town about 65 miles from our house. So we made the drive out to this one gas station town and the venue was the definitely the prize of the town. The 1 cop pretty much hung out at the hotel till there was a call lol. It was such a beautiful weekend. The Hubs took half of these photos becuase my phone died half way through the reception.

 

 

 

 

The table had such cute added details. Kasey did such an amazing job with the decor. Too busy helping decorate too take more pictures of those details! 

 

 It was so fun to be part of their day. James was the best man, so Kasey so graciously let me hang with her bridal party all day. Brought tears to my eyes looking at Brett seeing Kasey for the first time. This whole day brough back so many memories from just a year ago.

The boys taking pictures before the ceremony :). and James in a bow tie! Never again will this happen...so it was a must for a sweet upclose!! So handsome!  

The flower girl and ring bearer...be still my heart. So so so cute. They gave him $5 to keep happy and man was he a happy kid. I wish $5 could make me this happy hahah

 

Oh and then... no wedding is complete with a a 'beer burrow' aka: 'cocktail-ass'. Walked around and we grabbed beers!

After the ceremony, the party made their enterance..and at this point, I had my eye on my prize, the handsome man all dressed up (hubster!) being reeled in like a fish from the MOH haha..hilarious.

Giving his Best Man speech! He was soooo nervous! But I think he did just wonderful :) Earned himself some brownie points and mentioned me! So that always earns him getting out of the dishes this week!

 

The girls decorated their car and it was such a fabulous wedding! Im still feeling hungover...4 days later haha.

 

Congrats Love Birds!!! Hope the honeymooon is magical! See you in Vegas!

2 weeks, we head to Vegas for the Jensen wedding!! Better start hydrating! :)

Mothers Day // 2014

 

My Beautiful Momma and my Best Friend.

 

My sweet, fun, spunky, crazy, beautiful Momma. She has been a Mom now for just over 26 years. I believe she has enjoyed 99% of it (because you know when I was a kid I tortured her).

She has taught me selfless-ness. To give to others before you give to yourself. You can never have too many shoes or hang bags. Always guided me to be better than I was the day before. Always try your hardest and always be polite....we may be a little iffy on that last one hehe.

My mom has supported anything I have wanted to do. She has helped me make my way through college and stood by my side the entire time. She helped me move to Las Vegas and back home a few years later. I am so greatful to be working at the same company as her, knowing im following in some pretty awesome foot steps. 

I can never thank my Mom enough or tell her or show her how much she means to me. She has such a beautiful heart and soul and I am so glad she gets to be MY MOMMA ❤

I have learned from the best and hope that Emma will take notes and learn awesome things from her Mimi ❤. Speaking of Emma, how awesome is it that Emma and Mimi are also best friends?! They have such cute songs and go out and play together and go shopping. It warms my heart that we are so close and I get to watch them together. I love seeing their smiles when they are together. Such a beautiful sight ❤. Emma and I are so lucky.

My Momma and I over the last 3 years or so ❤ so so blessed beyond words to have this woman in my life.
