Baby 2 // 38 weeks

Gender: Its a GIRL; Gianna Pizza! (We should have a middle name this week..err ok after she is born we will decide lol)

Weight: +2 pounds...so now im -10 pounds

Size of Baby: Weighs about a watermelon! (i have my final growth scan this Friday)

Belly button in or out: innie till the end

Sleep: I used to go to bed 9-10..the past week or so, its been 1030-11 and I can feel it everyday struggling lol

Best moment of the week: getting my induction scheduled...ahh!!

Worst moment of the week: playing the waiting game for this babe...will it be contractions, my water breaking, or is she gonna hold out till the end and be forced out?!

Miss anything: nope

Purchases: the glider arrived and we put it together :) we are getting all the other last minute stuff this weekend

Emmas thoughts: Emma pointed at my belly button and said 'Momma, is sissy gonna come out that hole?'...i mistakenly said 'Nope! not that hole'....so now she keeps saying 'Sissy no come out THAT hole!!" but she thinks the doctor will help get the baby out..no vagina talk yet hahahaha 

Difference between pregnancies: well, since ive never been this pregnant, I cant believe that at 38 weeks how much energy i really have. I can go up the stairs no problem, still put shoes and pants on no struggle. i will say that I cannot tie my shoes or shave my legs without a REAL struggle haha  

Movement: shes been pretty quiet in the morning and wakes up about lunch and dances all night

Cravings: I cant wait to get my mouth on some sushi

Maternity Clothes: this week, same 2 pairs of pants and same 5 different shirts in rotation haha...I apologized to my coworkers in advanced lol

Queasy or sick: havent been sick since Dec 6th weekend!! Woohoo!!!

Looking forward to: enjoying these last 6 days of being preggo and finally meeting this babe <3 

Emma Photo Dump

Um lets talk about how amazing gas prices are!! My parents dont have a Fry's gas station near them and we of course have 6 in a 10 mile radius. So we reap the benefits of the points! As I saw prices coming down, I knew I was going to get a good amount off, so my mom got a bunch of gift cards for double points to reach 1000 points and get $1 off!! I waited a week for prices to fall to $1.99 and made sure I was on E. Well this is my result..less than $12 to fill the SUV!!! and now prices are at $1.75 and we got 70 cents off this week and spend $11.88 to fill the entire tank. Mind blown....like its 1999.

And now for Emma :)

30 days of photos because I have been a slackerrrrrr. 

 I had to bring Emma to an NST apt a few weeks ago and she was so well behaved :)

 We did lots and lots of shopping over the holidays

 We ate at the Rain forest Cafe and Emma LOVED that all the animals "came to life".

 After we ate, we went to aquarium and Emma couldnt want till we got to the Star Fish so she could touch them! She knew exactly what to do when we got to them :) so smart that she remembers from a few months ago

 After the fish, we walked the mall and rode the merry-go-round and this cute little school bus.

Emma has also been obsessed with Giannas room. We've been spending lots of time in there talking about how this is sissy's stuff and she has her own stuff in her room. Its precious.

 We got James this GIANT snickers bar for Christmas and Emma couldnt get enough haha

The picture above is one of my new favorites. I desperately NEEDED to have pancakes one weekend and they were fist bumping all meal.

Emma is also obsessed with this purple headband I got for Gianna for the hospital (Emma has always hated bows and headbands so I didnt get her one) everyday now, she asks for her 'pink' one...ive had to order her one now haha

Butterfly Exhibit

 James' parents came to visit the weekend after Christmas to celebrate with us and we took the opportunity to see the butterfly exhibit here in Scottsdale. It was a tad over-priced..but it was pretty awesome!! We saw a 3D movie before going out to play with the butterfly's. They were so cool, flying around and landing on  you. It was great.

 This random lady had them all over her. It was so neat. I couldnt get one to land on me tho haha

Baby 2 // 37 weeks

Gender: Its a GIRL; Gianna Pizza! (We should have a middle name this week..err ok after she is born we will decide lol)

Weight: I gained 2 pounds over the last week! Although I had to poop at my Drs (haha) and will chalk that up to about 1 pound

Size of Baby: Watermelon/length of a swiss chard?

Belly button in or out: innie

Sleep: only getting up 1-2 times a night to pee :)

Best moment of the week: I had 2 work baby showers and am feeling so overwhelmed with love :)

Worst moment of the week: trying to schedule my induction and my dr is on vacation...AGAIN! erg.

Miss anything: this week I dont feel like im missing too much. 

Purchases: we got our MamaRoo!!! and we ordered our glider :)


Emmas thoughts: she asked if the baby was coming out of the hole in my tummy haha

Difference between pregnancies:I cant believe how much energy I have right now still 

Movement: becoming less frequent...ahh baby soon!

Cravings: nothing this week


Maternity Clothes: both maternity and non-maternity...depends on whats clean ;)

Queasy or sick: I have been feeling really good the last 4 weeks 

Looking forward to: getting this baby out safely!!

Baby 2 // 36 weeks

Gender: Its a GIRL; Gianna Pizza! (We should have a middle name this week..err maybe the next week)

Weight: stayed the same!! I made sure to take my boots off and I had to prove my point haha

Size of Baby: Watermelon/length of lettuce. As of Friday 1/9 baby was weighing it at 5lbs 8 oz, a week small. But my OB said that were good to go.

Belly button in or out: innie

Sleep: better than the week before (wierd lol but ill take it!)

Best moment of the week: meeting up with some friends and receiving some diapers for baby girl...totally forgot you had to buy those for a baby hahahah...its amazing what you let go the second time around..oops

Worst moment of the week: still fighting this stuffy nose...blahhh

Miss anything: I saw some sushi the other day and so badly wanted to eat it!!!

Purchases: we got a new Boppy and cover and the Boon drying racks :)

Emmas thoughts: She cannot wait for this baby...I tell her, 'you cantwait dear...just wait cuz when she is here..wah wah wah' lol

Difference between pregnancies: although my heartburn is in full swing, its much much less than with Emma. I ate a whole thing of Tums weekly with Emma and I havent bought any in at least 3 weeks

Movement: it becoming less rolls and movements and now some sweet jabs and some hard scrapes on my sides

Cravings: cheese this week

Maternity Clothes: both maternity and non-maternity...depends on whats clean ;)

Queasy or sick: not this week!! :) yay!!

Looking forward to: finishing getting all the last minute things in place. 3 WEEKS OR LESS!!!!!!!! AHHHH <3

Baby 2 // 35 weeks

Gender: Its a GIRL; Gianna Pizza! (We should have a middle name this week)

Weight: I went up 4lbs since last week...but I also ate lunch in the car on the way to my apt and had my heavier leather boots on, which I have never worn to an apt...so im curious to see what next week will be at, when I wear my usual shoes and I will make sure to eat at least an hour before

Size of Baby: Honeydew Melon (I will have a size update next week..my ultrasounds are moved to Fridays)

Sleep:this week has been really off. Ive been going to bed around 1030 and waking at 130 and 10 mins before my alarm -_-

Best moment of the week: Emma has been really loving on my belly. Ive been rocking her at night before I lay her down for bed and she always says 'Momma, I wanna snuggle sister' Melts my heart.

Worst moment of the week: My heartburn is in full swing. Bleh.

Miss anything: Im getting to the point where bending over is becoming difficult lol

Purchases: we got the mattress for the crib and rearranged some stuff in her room

Emmas thoughts:  my sister will be here soon!!!

Difference between pregnancies: I feel like I have so much more energy this time around. Maybe its bc at this point in my pregnancy with Emma, I was 40lbs heavier and couldnt bend over ha

Movement: its getting cramped in there; but she is getting lots of hiccups this week 

Cravings: cheese this week

Maternity Clothes: both maternity and non-maternity...depends on whats clean ;)

Queasy or sick: ive been ok this week :)

Looking forward to: finishing getting stuff together for the nursery and im packing my hospital bag this weekend!!
